Privacy at Pure Padel

Who we are

Pure Padel Limited operates purepadel.nz. This notice explains how we handle website enquiries and communications, and how bookings through linked services relate to your privacy. For privacy questions, or to ask for access to or correction of your personal information, email hello@purepadel.nz.

Your enquiry

We collect information you give us so we can respond to your enquiry and discuss the service or project you have asked about. Our enquiry form asks for your name, email address, enquiry type and message. Organisation and town or region are optional. If you choose not to provide the required fields, you can contact us directly by email instead. Please leave out sensitive information we do not need.

Enquiries, subscriptions and marketing

We use your contact details to reply and follow up on your enquiry. Sending an enquiry or booking a court does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

If you ask to receive Pure Padel news or updates, we may email you about the topics you have agreed to, such as club news, events or future projects. Our contact form also offers a separate, optional investment-updates checkbox for investment enquiries, including updates about the planned Ōrākei club. It is unchecked by default. We keep a record of that choice, the consent wording and version, and the enquiry reference with the correspondence in our Google Workspace inbox.

You can stop marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe option in the message, replying “unsubscribe”, or emailing hello@purepadel.nz. We will action the request within five working days. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent replies to your enquiries or necessary messages about a booking or service.

Court bookings and player communications

Our booking links take you to Playtomic, where you complete your booking. Playtomic collects and handles information under its own privacy notice. This website does not collect your payment-card details or complete the booking itself.

When you book with our club through Playtomic, we receive your name, email address, phone number and booking time. We use these details to manage court use, respond to booking questions and communicate with you about your booking and relevant club services. Access to that information is separate from this website's enquiry form. Marketing updates require a separate, appropriate consent basis; a booking is not an automatic mailing-list signup.

Services we use

Our website is hosted by Vercel. When you use the enquiry form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated abuse, Resend delivers the notification, and Google Workspace holds the resulting correspondence. These providers may process information outside New Zealand. Resend describes its primary processing operations as being in the United States. We do not sell your personal information.

Technical and security information

Hosting and security services process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and website requests to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Turnstile processes browser and connection signals for bot detection; Cloudflare also uses these signals to improve its bot-detection service. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum for details.

Cookies and optional analytics

Necessary browser storage supports website functions and remembers your cookie choice for up to six months. Hosting and security services may also use cookies or similar technologies to operate the site and prevent abuse.

We use Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager, to understand page visits, clicks through to Playtomic and completed website enquiries. Google processes technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers and the website interactions you permit. We send page addresses without their query strings or fragments and do not send form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers or Playtomic booking records to Analytics.

When the site loads, our hosting provider uses your connection’s IP address to estimate your country. We use that country result to decide whether to ask for permission; we do not request your device’s precise location. For connections identified as being in New Zealand, analytics runs automatically unless you turn it off. For other countries, or when the country cannot be established, analytics stays off until you accept. IP-based location is approximate and can be affected by a VPN. Rejecting analytics does not affect bookings or enquiries. Use Cookie settings, available on every page, to accept, reject or withdraw permission. Withdrawal stops future analytics collection and removes this website's accessible Analytics cookies; it does not automatically erase information already processed by Google. Contact hello@purepadel.nz about information rights.

Analytics cookies last up to six months unless you remove them or withdraw permission sooner. Our Analytics event-data retention setting is two months; aggregated reports may remain longer. Google may process information outside New Zealand. Read Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

We do not use advertising pixels, Google advertising personalisation or remarketing cookies on this website. Any future advertising setup will need its own notice and consent controls before activation.

How long we keep information

Gareth manages enquiry follow-up and retention. We review closed enquiries at 12 months and delete information earlier when it is no longer needed. Ongoing relationships and records needed for another lawful purpose are considered separately. We also review investment-update contacts at 12 months and remove details when they are no longer needed. When someone unsubscribes, we retain only the minimal record needed to respect that request. Booking records, service-provider records and backups may have different retention requirements. We retain the information we hold only for as long as it is needed for its purpose or another lawful reason.

Questions and concerns

If you have a privacy concern, contact hello@purepadel.nz. You can also contact the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner. Booking services, app stores, social networks and other linked websites have their own privacy notices.
